Enfield to invest £58m in heat network | Inside Housing

Enfield Council is to invest £58m to develop a community energy network which will supply low carbon heat and hot water to 15,000 homes.

The council has approved an £85m business plan for its own energy company, Energetik, to develop the network, which can be expanded to include up to 30,000 homes and businesses. The firm is developing four heat networks with Meridian Water, Arnos Grove, Ponders End and Oakwood which will supply homes for the next 40 years.
